Caesar Twins (and friends…)

The Caesar Twins are a couple of extremely athletic and acrobatic lads from the Cirque du Soleil (sp?). They basically perform a set of acrobatic set pieces with some amazing slow movements showing strenght and control beyond belief.

The show was a bit cabaret-ish to start with but was still impressive none-the-less. They were accompanied by a really tall singer (either she is tall or they are pretty small…) and a saxophonist. These two added some pretty well performed lyrics and music over the top of the twins’ performance (and had their own solo performances too)

All in all pretty amazing and makes me want to go see what the whole Cirque du Soleil can do.

BBC- Doctor Who – Radiophonatron

Fancy mixing your own Doctor Who Theme along with all the associated wah wah, whizzle, and spangle sound effects. Or maybe just to see what someone has named all these otherworldly noises.

Takes a wee while to load so be patient with it!

No more backgammon

My usual online backgammon server has died a death – see here for the ongoing saga.

Really disappointed as I was doing okay in my first tournament there and had another 10 or so games on the go. Helps to while away the hours without having to constantly be online to check the progress. Hopefully things will come back in some sort of order and me and the thousands of others can get on with things again.

Any suggestions as to any other turn based servers out there would be much appreciated.

Instead of backgammon I’m playing GTA San Andreas and enjoying it immensely. I’ve just started a gang war and keep trying to kill some dude at a funeral but I’m not having much success. Its still too much fun to just drive about and bait the cops though. Wish I could wheelie the Fazer the same as I can the bikes in the game…

Happy Birthday Mum

Just a quick post to say happy birthday mum. That’s why we all went to the Flamenco and then on to The New Bell for food afterwards. Yum.

Flamenco – the verdict

I never thought I would see the day when I enjoyed this sort of thing. But it has happened.

Flamenco was superb – the history of Venezuela told through dance, fantastic dancers who were indeed gorgeous, brilliant musicians, and amazing singing. Did I say the dancers were gorgeous by the way?
